The story so far
Mark Daynes and John Love met at college and began writing songs together in 1993. Since then, they’ve built a catalogue of original songs spanning four decades.
Many of the early songs were written and recorded at John’s grandad’s house, where he had put together a basic home studio using tape machines and whatever equipment was available at the time. From handwritten lyrics and cassette demos through to later band recordings and releases under Curl, the songs have continued to develop while the writing partnership has carried on.
The Daynes/Love Song Catalogue brings that body of work together in one place, with selected songs available for artists, producers and others looking for original material to record, alongside selected licensing opportunities.
